Dear Colleagues, Dear Students,

It is a great pleasure for me to welcome you to the Faculty of Medicine at Istanbul Aydın University. As the Dean of this distinguished institution, I take pride in our long-standing tradition of excellence in medical education, research, and clinical practice.

Nearly every profession involves working with people and, in one way or another, serving others. However, medicine is the only profession that directly serves human beings and, moreover, aims to improve the quality of life of individuals who have lost the state of healthy living. Acquiring such a profession with such a profound purpose, gaining experience and interpreting that experience, as well as teaching and practicing this profession, are by no means easy endeavors.

In this context, our Faculty of Medicine consists of a dedicated group of educators, researchers, and clinicians who are committed to providing our students with the knowledge and skills required to become competent physicians. We believe in fostering an environment of inquiry, critical thinking, and lifelong learning that encourages our students to explore new horizons and push the boundaries of medical knowledge.

Our faculty is also determined to advance the field of medicine through cutting-edge research aimed at addressing the most pressing health challenges of our time. Our research programs span a wide range of disciplines, from basic sciences to clinical research, and are designed to create a meaningful impact on human health.

As part of our commitment to clinical excellence, our faculty is also dedicated to providing high-quality patient care through our clinical affiliates. These partnerships enable our academic staff to apply their knowledge and expertise in real-world settings, while simultaneously offering our students valuable clinical experience.
