Admission to the Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate Program is carried out based on the results of the centralized placement examinations administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). In addition, student admission through the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) and horizontal transfer is conducted in accordance with the relevant legislative regulations.
Applications for horizontal transfer from domestic and international higher education institutions are evaluated in line with the principles determined by the Council of Higher Education. Courses previously completed by students are assessed by the relevant academic boards, taking into account content and credit compatibility, and exemptions are granted for courses deemed appropriate.
Admission of international students is conducted within the framework of Istanbul Aydın University's relevant directives. Admission, recognition, and transfer processes are implemented in a transparent and traceable manner, in compliance with the university's quality assurance system.
