Procedures for lateral transfer, vertical transfer, intra-institutional and inter-institutional transfers, and recognition of prior learning in the Istanbul Aydın University Computer Engineering Undergraduate Program are carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), relevant regulations, and the academic directives of Istanbul Aydın University. Lateral transfer applications are evaluated by taking into account the student's academic performance at their current higher education institution, program compatibility, and quotas. Vertical transfers are realized according to the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) results of students who have graduated from Vocational Schools. The recognition of previously taken courses and acquired qualifications is decided upon examination by the relevant faculty and department boards. Course contents, credits, and learning outcomes are taken as the basis in the recognition process. All adjustment and transfer procedures are conducted according to transparent, fair, and documentable criteria.
