Purpose and Content

The aim of the course This course aims to introduce students the basic knowledge and approaches used in mathematical statistics by enabling students recognize the estimation methods and properties of estimators.
Course Content Students will acquire single and two-dimensional functions of random variables, the expected value of two-dimensional random variable functions, variance and moments, discrete two-dimensional probability functions, continuous two-dimensional probability density functions, conditional probability functions in two-dimensional, two-dimensional normal distribution, log normal distribution, uniform distribution , exponential distribution, gamma, beta, Cauchy, and weibull distribution and methods for obtaining a continuous review of distributions in general.
