Purpose and Content

The aim of the course In today's conditions where costs in healthcare services gradually increase, the provision of scarce resources in a way that creates the highest added value depends on the implementation of the quality management approach throughout the organization with the support of the senior management. The aim of this course is to convey the concept of quality in health institutions, quality assurance systems, national and international accreditation standards in health, quality improvement tools and effective leadership understanding in quality studies and to provide them with knowledge.
Course Content Total Quality Management Philosophy and Historical Development, Importance of Quality in Health Services, Quality Management Systems in Health, Quality Awards, Quality Studies of the Ministry of Health, External Assessment and Accreditation in Health Services, Patient and Employee Safety Practices, Service Quality Measurement Models, Quality Improvement Tools, quality, Cost and Technology Relations, Clinical quality Applications in the world and Turkey.
