Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of the course is to teach quantitative techniques to be used in decision making at operational level in health institutions administration.
Course Content Evaluation of the administrative problem solving and decision-making process in health organizations. Decision variables, constraints, and conceptof purpose function. Decision-making process and theory. Linear programming, sensitivity analysis, duality applications, transportation models, assignment models, project management techniques (CPM, PERT), game theory, stock models, waiting line systems, simulation-simulation methods. The concept of efficiency. Efficiency measurement approaches (ratio analysis, regression analysis)
