Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To teach students basic information about health literacy (HL) and to gain the necessary skills for the use of this information. The course aims to increase the health status of the society by increasing the student's awareness of health literacy.
Course Content The course includes basic knowledge of health literacy, the skills necessary for the use of this information, and thus knowledge aimed at improving the health status of the population. In this context, health literacy course in the World and Turkey, nutrition, active aging includes health literacy issues with chronic diseases.
