Purpose and Content

The aim of the course As a methodology, it aims to evaluate the basic strategies of epidemiology and epidemiological research types and applications.
Course Content Definition of epidemiology, its purpose, brief historical development, areas of use, basic concepts, quantitative measures, qualitative measures consisting of various rates of death, birth, etc., observational research methods (descriptive and analytical-ecological, case-control, prevalence, incidence), experimental research methods (randomized clinical trials, field trials, community trials) and the application of epidemiological concepts, measurements and techniques to planning, organizing, directing and controlling functions of management.
