Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Students analyze country cinemas and directors that haven’t been handled in theoretical courses such as history, theories and movements of cinema. Targets of the course includes determining new approaches in today’s modern cinema, especially in Hollywood and Turkish cinema.
Course Content Content of the course includes theory generating trials, genre concept in cinema and genres, extraordinary directors that appeared with the exception of basic cinema theories in cinema’s historical process but remained limited.
