Purpose and Content

The aim of the course It is aimed to explain the formation, establishment and functioning of the European Union, which is an international organization and to provide information about European Union law.
Course Content Explaining the European integration attempts and the emergence of the European Communities, the founding treaties of the European Communities and the overview of the most important EU treaties (founding treaties, treaty amendments, Lisbon Treaty, etc), the enlargement process of the European Union and membership, withdrawal from EU membership and Brexit, the institutions and duties of the European Union, the resources and characteristics of the European Union Law, Common foreign and security policy, European Union and Turkey relations.
