Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The objective of this course is to define the concept of administration and to emphasize dependence of administration, which is one of the significant requirements of rule of law, on law after demonstrating the duty, authority and responsibility areas.
Course Content In this course, central government and local administration organizations will first be explained. After the general structure of administrative organization, the formation of bodies, their administration, duties and authorities will be covered. Government officials, who provide public service, and their statuses will then be defined. Judicial review of administration constitutes the second main topic of the course unit. The development of administrative law and its organization, nullity suits and full remedy sits, which are types of administrative suits, will be discussed in this context. Lastly, administrative jurisdiction procedures will be explained in the light of the theoretical information identified in nullity suits and full remedy actions. Besides, the theoretical framework of this course will be materialized through current events and court decisions.
