Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The objective of this course is to identify the Notion of criminal code by systematically defining basic concepts pertaning to the general provisions of criminal law.
Course Content The course unit covers types of crimes within the context of crimes policy principles and attempt, abet, session, voluntary abondonment and effective repentance. The course also deals with the theory of sanction after the types of crimes. This part mainly includes punishments and security precautions. The purpose, characteristics and types of punishments, sanctions, suspension, conditional release and reconciliation are also discussed. Being deprived of some rights, confiscation, security precautions for children, security precautions for mentally-ill people, repetition of a crime and dangerous criminals, being deported, security precautions for legal entities and probation are dealt with in the security precautions part. Finally, the principles of determining and individualizing the punishment are discussed.
