Istanbul Aydın University Department of Press, Promotion, and Public Relations organizes seminar programs including guidance and faculty/department introductions to contribute to students planning their futures with conscious and solid steps. These programs are planned for students as well as parents, teachers, and school administrators, offering special content for different needs.
Seminars are held both on our campus and by visiting high schools. Students who come to visit our campus find the opportunity to observe theoretical knowledge on-site and experience the university environment.
The primary goal of the guidance seminars is to support students in the university preparation process in correctly discovering their interests and talents and to strengthen their preference processes by offering up-to-date, reliable information about professions and career paths. In this context, guiding information is shared in the seminars under headings such as; Preference Process Management, Transition to University Life, Personal Development and Career Planning, Exam System, and Anxiety and Motivation.
In faculty and department promotion seminars, many topics such as the content of educational programs, scholarship opportunities, academic infrastructure, and post-graduation career opportunities are handled in detail.
In seminars organized for parents, the role of families in students' educational journeys and correct guidance approaches are emphasized; in programs held for teachers and school administrators, current education models, guidance practices, and university-school collaborations are addressed.
Istanbul Aydın University aims for students to grow as individuals who are knowledgeable, aware of their goals, and advancing confidently toward their future; in this direction, it provides guidance services to students, parents, teachers, and school administrators during the university preference and profession choice processes.
