Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	In this course providing that health technicians to learn the concepts about emergency situations and the ability to intervene life endangering situations.
Course Content	Definition of first aid and PRR rule, first aid targets, ABC rules of first aid and basic life support, removing foreign bodies fled to airway, bleeding types and the bleeding stopped, apply a tourniquet first aid for consciousness disorder, shock and fainting. Injury types and regional injuries , spinal injuries, first aid for broken bones and sprains ,types of burns and types of poisoning and first aid, first aid for heat stroke and frostbite, forms of transport for sick and wounded

The aim of the course

Course Content

Learning Outcomes

Will have basic vocational knowledge.
Situation in Turkey and in the world of emergency medical services and first aid and emergency technicians know their duties and responsibilities in this system.
Knows the principles of individual and organizational communication.
Quality improvement and knowledge about quality standards.
In an emergency patient assessment; knows the principles of primary and secondary inspection.
Knowing the transportation of patients.
Simple recovery extraction techniques are known in traffic accidents
Emergency vehicle's mechanical and technical knowledge is hardware related.
Human anatomy, physiology, pathology has basic knowledge in the field.
Infection Control Method knows.
Know the Basic Life Support applications.
Know the Advanced Life Support applications.
In pre-hospital emergency care to know ways to cope with stress.

Knowing the Infection Control Methods, emergency vehicles and equipment to ensure that the infection controls, ensure the conditions of asepsis and antisepsis
