Graduation Requirements

Students who successfully complete all of the courses in the Istanbul Aydın University curriculum are determined to be eligible for graduation by the decision of the Faculty, College, or Vocational School Executive Board. A diploma is awarded in accordance with the principles, procedures, and format stipulated in the Higher Education Law and this regulation.

To graduate, students must:

Have a minimum GPA of 2.00.
Complete 120 ECTS credits over a total of four semesters.
Beginning in the second semester, students must complete the "On-Site Practice" courses (YUM I, YUM II, and YUM III) (with prerequisites).
Students who complete their associate degree are required to complete a 30-day internship, as determined by the Board of Directors.
Students are awarded a diploma bearing the name of their department and program upon enrollment at Istanbul Aydın University. The diplomas also include their Turkish ID number, graduation date, diploma number, and graduation semester (fall, spring, and summer semester). Students transferring from another university are required to have completed the last two semesters at Istanbul Aydın University to receive their diplomas.

The diplomas bear the following signatures: In the College and Vocational School: The Director and the Rector.

Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.00-3.49 graduate with Honors, while those with a GPA of 3.50 or higher graduate with High Honors. This status is noted on their diplomas.

Students who achieve first, second, and third place in their departments receive additional awards from our university.
