Operating Room Services
Operating Room Services was established to train experienced operating room technicians who can ensure the preparation and use of all surgical materials used in multi-purpose operating rooms during surgery, directly participate in all surgical teams, and assist surgeons during surgery.
The scarcity of operating room technicians has made this profession increasingly sought after due to the increase in public and private inpatient facilities. Hospitals need healthcare professionals with specialized training in this field, resulting in high employment opportunities. The training is fundamental to training students to become technicians who are familiar with all surgical equipment in the operating room, can serve as auxiliary personnel, and can prepare and assist in the use of all high-tech surgical equipment used in surgery.
Their competencies are not limited to preparing the surgical infrastructure for surgery; they also include monitoring and recording patient vital signs, surgical patient safety, medication preparation and administration methods, patient positioning and wiping techniques, sterile dressing and undressing, surgical set preparation, and opening and closing sterile packages.
