Our school was established by the decision of the Council of Higher Education at its general assembly meeting on March 3, 2012. The school began offering programs in Oral and Dental Health, Anesthesia, Dental Prosthetic Technology, Physiotherapy, First and Emergency Aid, Opticianry, Orthopedic Orthosis Prosthetics, Radiotherapy, Medical Imaging Techniques, and Medical Laboratory Techniques within the Vocational School of Health Services. In 2014, programs in Operating Room Services, Dialysis, Disabled Care and Rehabilitation, Electroneurophysiology, Audiometry, Pathology Laboratory Techniques, Perfusion Techniques, and Medical Documentation Techniques were added to our school. The Social Services program was added in the 2014-2015 academic year. Currently, our school offers a total of 19 programs and 18 laboratories, enabling our students to complete their two-year associate degree programs with intensive theoretical and practical courses, along with state-of-the-art equipment.
SHMYO, which started with a laboratory capacity of 1300 m2 before the 2014-2015 Academic Year, continues to provide education with an area and laboratory capacity of 6920 m2 and currently more than 3000 active students after the 2014-2015 Academic Year.
