Objectives

The Tourism Guidance Department welcomes you to the exciting world of tourism, travel and entertainment. Currently, world tourism and tourism industry in Turkey take precedence in every aspects dealing with more than 6 trillion dollars in volume and exceeding 350 million employees engaged with the tourism industry all around the world. Turkey being ranked within the top ten countries in the world, helps shaping the future of the tourism industry with brand new investments going on the Aegean and Mediterranean costs, and specificly in Istanbul as once considered by the Napoleon Bonaparte, “ The capital of the world if all nations will unite one day. ”

Targets

The department target is that growing up people in a capacity of experience in sector, having a knowledge of at least two languages, using computer properly, having a capability of deciding and appliying, following recently knowledge of sector, having a good capacity of human relations. The studets realize that the importance of the technologies about tourism sector and the main rules of their proffesionalities during their education life. The students have law responsibilities as tourism operators. And the students are able to research and apply both individual and with a group.
