Within the framework of Turkey's strategic development plans, vocational colleges and their graduates have been established with the encouragement and support of the Higher Education Council (YÖK) in order to contribute to a qualified workforce. With this motivation and the support of our universities, the Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association (MEDEK) was established in 2021. Our association obtained accreditation authority from the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) in 2023 for 83 vocational school programs to ensure that these programs comply with established standards, quality criteria, and performance metrics.

Mission

MEDEK's mission is to provide information, external evaluation, and accreditation services aimed at improving the quality of associate degree programs. Thus, it supports the improvement of education and training standards.

Vision

MEDEK's vision is to define the educational, research activities, and administrative processes of associate degree programs in accordance with national and international standards, determine the quality of human resources, and share the results with relevant institutions to become an organization that certifies quality.
