Our graduates can easily find employment as electronics technicians in private and public institutions operating in the manufacture, installation, maintenance, and repair of communication devices. The ever-increasing need for intermediate personnel in state and private television channels, Türk Telekom, the Armed Forces, and private telecommunications companies increases the employment opportunities of those in this profession. They undertake the production, maintenance, and repair of communication devices. They install, maintain, and repair indoor communication devices. They establish, maintain, and operate cable TV, pager, and mobile phone systems. They connect communication devices to a central location or between centers via overhead lines, fiber optic, and radio link lines. They also work in the installation, operation, and troubleshooting of telephone switchboards. They install, install, and maintain long-distance telephone lines, troubleshoot any malfunctions. They ensure the regular execution of work on radio link and fiber optic systems, perform maintenance and repair, troubleshoot any malfunctions, and assist in the installation, operation, and removal of radio stations.
In accordance with the "Regulation on the Continuation of Undergraduate Education of Vocational School Graduates," published in the Official Gazette dated February 19, 2002, and numbered 24676, and the application principles determined by the Council of Higher Education, successful students graduating from Vocational School programs can vertically transfer to formal undergraduate programs.
