​​ARTICLE 6 – (1) The Center engages in the activities determined below in order to achieve its purpose:

a) To organize education programs, conferences, courses, seminars, national and international congresses about education sciences and technologies for people at every level, primarily the academic member of the University; to give certificates for these studies and make publications about the activities if needed; to cooperate with the relevant national and international institutions; to publish periodicals such as bulletins, journals, scientific journals, books about educational sciences and technologies.

b) To conduct basic and applied researches in the fields of educational sciences and technologies; to assist and support the projects carried out by institutions on these subjects.

c) To coordinate and assist in order to develop and implement interdisciplinary research projects about educational sciences and technologies.

d) To take necessary precautions for establishment and dissemination of research and development studies in educational sciences and technologies on contemporary level.

e) To assist and support the researchers who study on educational sciences and technologies.

f) To give education to the students who are interested in educational sciences and technologies to conduct researches; to help students implement their research projects and to provide opportunities to the students in this respect.

g) To encourage scientific studies by organizing project competitions about educational sciences and technologies.

h) To conduct joint studies with the similar domestic and foreign institutions intended for its purpose and to exchange information.

i) To analyze the academic accomplishments of students and to make inferences.

j) To follow international evaluation examinations (PISA, TIMSS, etc.) and to develop education policies and strategies based on the data of these examinations.

k) To produce new education models and to prepare a program.

l) To develop and implement innovative models and projects for education of students, lecturers, administrative staff.

m) To organize congresses that produces the best practices in education.

n) To carry out high-qualified interdisciplinary research and development studies about educational and technological sciences.

o) To organize research and development studies, seminars, conferences, workshops for increasing the quality of training technologies in preschools, secondary school, high school and higher education.

p) To conduct studies about research, application and development of new educational technologies such as blended learning, social media, flipped classroom.

q) To organize research and education studies on effective usage of educational technologies in preschool, primary school, secondary school, high school and higher education.

r) To organize various trainings on the effective usage of training technologies by teachers.

s) To organize education about effective usage of training technologies for computer and educational technologies teachers and the other associate's degree, bachelor's degree and master's degree students.

t) To develop new educational technology models by cooperating with technology companies.
