     The aim of Istanbul Aydın University Anadolu BİL Vocational School of Aviation Technology program is to train technician candidates who will meet the civil aviation sector's need for “aircraft technicians.” In parallel with the rapid growth of the aviation sector, the need for trained aircraft maintenance technicians is increasing at the same rate. The curriculum of the Aviation Technology Program at Istanbul Aydın University Anadolu Bil Vocational School has been authorized by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation as a school recognized under SHY-147. Our school has been granted credit for 12 modules for the SHY-66 A1 category Aircraft Maintenance Personnel License. Practical training is conducted at the aviation technology center within our school, including hangars, aircraft systems, mechanical, and structural workshops.


In order to obtain the SHY-66 A1 category Aircraft Maintenance Personnel License, our students must pass the exams for the aforementioned 12 modules and complete 88 task training programs. Graduates who meet these requirements are awarded the “SHT-147 Recognized School Certificate.” After this stage, they must complete a two-year maintenance experience period at aircraft maintenance and repair facilities holding an SHT-145 certificate to obtain their A1 license. Upon completing the education and certification process, our graduates can work as aircraft maintenance technicians in the aviation maintenance and repair sector.

In parallel with the rapid growth of the aviation sector, the need for trained aircraft maintenance technicians is also increasing. The curriculum of the Aviation Technology Program at Istanbul Aydın University's Anadolu BİL Vocational School is authorized by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation as a recognized school under SHY-147. Our school has received credit for 12 modules towards the SHY-66 A1 category Aircraft Maintenance Personnel License. Practical training is conducted at our aviation technology center, which includes hangars, aircraft systems, mechanical and structural workshops.

To obtain the SHY-66 A1 category Aircraft Maintenance Personnel License, students must pass the exams in the 12 modules mentioned above and complete an 88-task training program. Graduates who meet these requirements are awarded an "SHT-147 Recognized School Certificate." After this stage, they must complete two years of maintenance experience at SHT-145 certified aircraft maintenance and repair facilities to obtain their A1 license. Graduates who complete the training and certification process can work as aircraft maintenance technicians in the aviation maintenance and repair industry.
