Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course is to introduce students to the fundamental concepts and practices of foreign trade, and to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage regulations, processes, and applications for conducting business in international markets
Course Content This course covers the definition, scope, and differences between domestic and foreign trade, as well as the reasons for and benefits of engaging in foreign trade. Students learn fundamental foreign trade concepts and develop skills to analyze and interpret current trade statistics. Key concepts of customs and transportation, foreign exchange regulations, and related documents are introduced, while international delivery terms and payment methods are taught through both theoretical instruction and practical examples. Additionally, essential documents used in foreign trade are presented, and students engage in document preparation exercises. In the later weeks of the course, foreign trade contracts are examined through sample case studies and practical applications to reinforce learning.
