1. In what fields can you work after graduating from the Sports Management Department?
Our graduates can pursue careers as managers in sports clubs, physical education teachers in schools, academics in universities, and specialists in sports federations and the General Directorate of Youth and Sports.
2. How long is the undergraduate program?
The undergraduate program in Sports Management lasts 4 years (8 semesters).
3. Is attendance compulsory?
Yes. Students are required to attend classes. A minimum of 70% of the total class hours for a course per semester is required.
4. What is the balance between theoretical and practical training in the courses?
Our program includes both theoretical courses (e.g., organizational theory, leadership models) and practical courses (e.g., case studies, etc.).
5. Are there internship opportunities?
Yes. Our students are provided with on-site practical training (internship) opportunities to gain sectoral experience.
6. Are there Erasmus or international exchange programs?

7. Which sports branches are taught in the department?
In addition to core branches such as football, basketball, volleyball, swimming, and athletics, training in different branches is offered as part of elective courses.
8. Are there opportunities for practical training in the courses?
Yes, opportunities for practical training are available. Students gain practical experience through sports organization planning, event management, club management simulations, field applications, and internship programs. Furthermore, through observation and project work conducted in federations, clubs, and sports facilities, students have the opportunity to experience management processes in the real world.
9. Is there a special aptitude test for admission to the department?
No. In the central placement system, candidates are placed in higher education programs by ÖSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center) taking into account their scores, preferences regarding higher education programs, and the quotas and conditions of these programs.
