Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Determining the sociological structures of Village and Urban societies.
Course Content Understands and explains the emergence of rural structures and peasantry as a form of social division of labor, and the ways in which rural populations and peasantry articulate with economy, culture and politics. Understands, discusses and explains the problems faced by the peasantry and agricultural structures in Turkey and their importance for the country's general social change and transformation.
