Purpose and Content

The aim of the course It gives a philosophical perspective through basic philosophical concepts. It gives practice of thinking, questioning and discussion. Recognizes philosophy schools and philosophers who have been turning points in the history of philosophy. It teaches to evaluate the main problems in sociology theoretically and critically.
Course Content It discusses the main currents and ideas in the history of philosophy, contemporary ideas and philosophical movements in their historical integrity, and provides a philosophical ground that will contribute to sociology formation.
