Purpose and Content

The aim of the course This course aims to provide students the ability to build a mathematical model for a given engineering problem, which in general involves differential equations. The course covers examples of complicated real-life engineering problems and systems, whose simplified mathematical models are established to further simulate the problem/system in question.
Course Content Building mathematical model for engineering problems/systems, analytical solution of ordinary differential equations (ODEs), numerical solution of ODEs and partial differential equations (PDEs), simulation of engineering problems using a computer software
