Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To provide students with general knowledge about intelligent control systems and their applications. To know how to build artificial intelligence based controllers. To know the different types of artificial intelligence tools. To understand the principles of operation of neural networks and fuzzy logics. To know how to use MATLAB and simulink in building artificial intelligence systems.
Course Content Introduction to intelligent control systems, differences between control systems and intelligent control systems, statistical modeling and decision making, neural networks, fuzzy logic.
