Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Many synthetic dyes have been used in the textile industry. Many synthetic dyes have carcinogenic content and cause environmental pollution in todays. In recent years, Europe and the United States have wanted natural dyes to be reused in the textile industry and they suggest. Natural dyeing had been started using for the mass production in the textile companies. Famous fashion designers prefer to use natural in their collections. For this reason, design student candidates will have knowledge that about natural dyes. It is aimed to have knowledge about this subject in undergraduate education.
Course Content It contains students' historical development about natural paint, which paint sources are used and how are they acquired and explanation of how to paint fabrics with natural paints.
