Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	Introduction to textile technology, teach students general aspects of textile technology
Course Content	The difference between knitting and weaving, the use of fabrics, production of fabrics by knitting machines, the processes during production and the factors that should be taken into account, the uses of knitted fabric, characteristics, the difference of usage between knitted fabrics and textiles.

Differentiate the basic principles of art in the field of fashion and textile design.
Follow the technological developments related to textile and ready-to-wear fields.
Summarize the application methods and theories in the field of fashion and textile deign.
