Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To learn structure of natural fibres, yarns and surfaces that used in textile.
Course Content Classification of textile fibers, yarn production methods and surfaces, creation methods in textile.

Weekly Course Subjects

1Definition, classification and general properties of textile fibers.
2Acquiring cotton and flax from cellulosic fibers, general properties and usage fields.
3Acquiring wool fiber and silk fiber from animal fibers, general properties and usage fields.
4General properties and usage fields of synthetic fibers and regenerated fibers.
5Yarn production methods, classifications and machine series used in production of yarns.
6Calculate yarn count.
7Cotton yarn technology.
8Wool yarn technology.Synthetic yarn technology.
9Mid-term.
10Definition and classification of surface creation methods in textile. Weaving preparation process and machines.
11Weaving technology and usage of basic knits in weaving.
12Knitting technology and classification of knitting technology. Classification and usage fields of weft knitting technology. Machines used in knitting technology and basic knits.
13Surface creation methods with nonwoven technology and usage fields of this technology.
14Finishing processes in textile.
