Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of the couse is to draw a historical and institutional perspective for the students in analyzing the main characteristics of the Turkish Economy
Course Content The essence of this lecture is the historical evaluation based on the main characteristics of the economy. Ottoman Empire, national economy, state socialism, liberal policies, import substitution for industrialization, liberal economic policies and periods will also be considered.
