Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Understanding the Importance of Sustainable Water Management: Gain an in-depth understanding of the significance of sustainable water management in addressing global water challenges. Explore the impact of unsustainable water practices on ecosystems, communities, and economies. Exploring Sustainable Water Management Methods: Learn about various sustainable water management methods, with a focus on rainwater harvesting. Understand the principles and techniques behind rainwater harvesting and its applications in different contexts. Real-world Applications: Analyze real-world examples of successful sustainable water management initiatives. Evaluate the effectiveness of different methods in diverse geographical and climatic conditions. Integration of Technology: Explore the integration of technology, including satellite services, in water management practices. Develop skills in utilizing satellite data for identifying suitable locations for rainwater harvesting. Practical Application: Apply theoretical knowledge through hands-on exercises.
