Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To introduce the kinematics and dynamics of the robotic systems to students. Students learn generalized coordinates, articulated body kinematics, transformations, DH parameters, inverse kinematics, and dynamics.
Course Content Introduction to Robotics; Spatial Transformations; Forward and Inverse Kinematics of Robots; Jacobians; Robot Dynamics, Joint and Cartesian Space, MATLAB applications for simulating the motions of the robotics systems.
