Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	The aim of this course is to improve students' professional English. Students learn to provide directions within the hospital, to analyze a reading passage about their department, to make general health screenings for the patient and to learn health techniques in order to communicate with their colleagues, doctors, patients and their relatives.
Course Content	In this course, students repeat grammar using English medical vocabulary and phrases. In addition, students learn how to give directions in the hospital, analyze a reading passage about their department, fill out the forms about the patients by talking to the patient, and learn the patterns and structures to communicate with healthy and sick people. They develop their skills with reading comprehension, presentation and role-playing techniques.
