Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Learning of the fundementals and some application areas of the Industrial manufacturing processess
Course Content Definition and classification of the manufacturing processess. Casting methoda. Melting equipmets and furnaces. Solidification and model materials. Classification of the welding methods and application examples. Weldinf defects, safetety in welding. Fundementals of the bulk deformation prıocessess. Examples. Sheet metal forming methods. Fundementals of the machining and machining methods. Powder metallurgy.

2Fundementals of the casting methods, melting and furneceses, solification, models and model materials.
3Casting applications.
4Classification of the welding methods and its applications.
5Welding methods and applications.
6Welding defects, safety in welding.
7Fundementals of the bulk deformation, classification of the methods.
8Open and closed-die forging. Rolling.
9Rod and wire drawing. Extrusion.
10Sheet metal forming mehods. Shearing, bending.
11Deep drawing, and other methods.
12Fundementals of the machining methods. Cutting tools and equipmets, chip formation, cutting fluids, tool-life.
13Machining methods and reelated applications.
14Powder metalurgy.
