Purpose and Content

The aim of the course the goals are: to build an understanding of cocepts and ideas, to emphasize the relationship between conceptual understanding and problem solving approaches and to provide students with a strong foundation of engineering practices.
Course Content circuit variables, circuit elements, simple resistive circuits, techniques of circuit analysis, operational amplifiers, inductance, capacitance and mutual inductance, response of first order RL and RC circuits, natural and step responses of RLC circuits, sinusoidal steady state analysis, sinusoidal steady state power calculations, series and parallel resonance circuits, balanced 3-phase circuits
