Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To teach theory and apllication examples of mechanisms.
Course Content Introduction to mechanisms. Examples, basic concepts, degrees of freedom, constraints on motions of kinematics elements. Kinematics analysis of mechanisms, position, velocity, and acceleration analysis using graphical and analytical methods. Linear mechanical systems, simple gear trains, planetary gear mechanisms. Cam mechanisms.
