Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim is to enable students to reinforce the knowledge, skills and competencies they have acquired during their education by practicing at a workplace in a field they are interested in, and to gain a work experience, thus facilitating their adaptation to business life.
Course Content Activities related to on-site practice are planned and carried out together with the student's consultations at his/her institution and at the workplace where he/she practices. These activities include learning and application activities for students to gain practical experience by taking part in the studies carried out in their fields, depending on a work environment where on-site application is made. At the end of the on-site application activity, the student submits a written report to the department or program to which he/she is affiliated, which will be prepared in accordance with the “On-Site Application Directive” of IAU and approved by the workplace where he/she has applied on-site.

Weekly Course Subjects

1Completing the bureaucratic procedures between the institution and the university where the On-Site Application will be made.
2Completion of the student's orientation
3Conducting a basic level study in the field
4Taking responsibility as a team member to solve unforeseen complex problems encountered in applications related to the field
5Evaluation of basic knowledge and skills acquired in the field
6To be able to carry out activities within the framework of a project.
7Identifying and meeting the learning needs related to the field.
8Establishing the relationship of the lessons taken with the applications and meeting the problems encountered in the applications with the lessons taught in the program.
9MIDTERM WEEK
10Using information and communication technologies together with the computer software required by the field
11Transfer of thoughts at the level of basic knowledge and skills on subjects related to the field through written and verbal communication
12Sharing ideas and solutions for problems related to the field with experts
13Being able to follow the information in the field and communicate with colleagues by using a foreign language.
14Preparation of reports for the solution of problems that may be encountered in practice
