Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	It is to help students reinforce the knowledge, skills and competencies they have acquired during their education, by making practice in the sector in a field they are interested in, and to gain work experience, thus facilitating their adaptation to business life.
Course Content	On-site Application Coordinatorship is planned and executed together with the advisors of the student's institution and the official at the workplace where the on-site application is made. These activities include learning and application activities for students to gain practical experience by taking part in the studies carried out in their fields, depending on a work environment where on-site application is made. At the end of the on-site application activity, the student submits a written report to the department or program to which he/she is affiliated, which will be prepared in accordance with the “On-Site Application Directive” of IAU and approved by the workplace where he/she has applied on-site.

The aim of the course

Course Content

Gains competence in knowing, mastering and using the medical terminology in the field of health sciences, where he/she will act as an intermediate staff.
Gains competence in accessing technology and using technological tools in relation to the field of health.
Gains competence in effective communication and teamwork by using the theoretical and applied knowledge in the field.
Gains competence in accessing and using information about tools and equipment by following technological developments in his field.
Gains competence in using computer programs and technologies related to the field.
Gains competence in patient admission, follow-up and registration processes.
Gains competence in problem solving and process management in line with ethical principles and professional values by using the knowledge he/she has about his/her field.
Updating all processes related to his/her profession with the awareness of lifelong learning and gaining competence in developing it by making use of information technologies.
Gains competence in developing lifelong learning awareness for his own personal development.
Gains competence in communicating effectively and using communication methods during team members, patient-patient relatives, colleagues and social communication.
Gains competence in carrying out and improving patient admission, follow-up and registration processes by using communication methods and technology effectively.
Gains knowledge about medical language, technical equipment, surgical instruments and materials in the field and skills while applying this information.

1	Uses up-to-date technologies suitable for the characteristics of the workplace in the field related issues.
2	Completion of student orientation.
3	Carrying out a basic level study related to the field.
4	Taking responsibility as a team member to solve complex and unforeseen problems encountered in applications related to the field.
5	Evaluation of basic knowledge and skills acquired in the field.
6	To be able to carry out activities within the framework of a project.
7	Determining and meeting the learning needs related to the field.
8	Establishing the relationship between the lessons taken and the applications and meeting the problems encountered in the applications with the lessons taught in the program.
9	Midterm Exam
10	Use of information and communication technologies together with the computer software required by the field.
11	Transfer of ideas through written and oral communication at the level of basic knowledge and skills on the subjects related to the field.
12	Sharing ideas and solutions for problems related to the field with experts.
13	Being able to follow the information in the field and communicate with colleagues using a foreign language.
14	Preparing reports to solve the problems that may be encountered in practice.
