Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course; is to define the concept of health, factors effecting health, the role physiotherapist in primary health services, preventive approaches, health promotion, preventive rehabilitation in community for healthy people and people with chronic disease.
Course Content This course covers the following topics: 'Health concept', 'Factors affecting health', 'ICF', 'Role of the physiotherapist in primary health care', 'Preventive approaches in physiotherapy', 'Health promotion', 'Purposes and examples of preventive rehabilitation programs', 'Preventive rehabilitation program examples in children and the elderly'.
