Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course; is to provide information about biological basis and development mechanisms of diseases and which cause to damage the human body and to teach the pathology knowledge at a level that should be known by the physiotherapist.
Course Content This course covers the following topics: 'Definition of pathology and general information', 'Cell damage', 'Necrosis and types', 'Cellular Adaptation I', 'Cellular Adaptation II', 'Fluid balance disorders and edema', 'Congestion, hyperemia and hemorrhage', 'Thrombosis, embolism, infarction and shock', 'Metabolic disorders I', 'Metabolic disorders II', 'Inflammation: Acute and chronic inflammation', 'Granulomatous inflammation', 'Wound healing', 'General inflammation of the immune system', 'Tumors', 'Nomenclature in tumor', 'Tumor etiopathogenesis', 'Specific tumors' and 'Infectious diseases pathology'.
