Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Business software or a business application is any software or set of computer programs used by business users to perform various business functions. These business applications are used to increase productivity, to measure productivity and to perform other business functions accurately.
Course Content Students will design, create, and maintain web applications that: dynamically display content from relational and hierarchical databases, provide transaction processing from procurement to fulfillment, connect to and share internal data with supply chain partners (extranet), afford ubiquitous access to internal data via secure channels (intranet). Students will gain experience working with integrated software development tools, various programming languages, and many web-based business standards.
