Purpose and Content

The aim of the course This programme has the following as its objectives: To explain the main responsibilities of a project manager and how to carry out these. Equip participants with modern project approaches and project management techniques To provide tools for project control and evaluation Improve professional project managers’ capacity to formulate, monitor and evaluate projects Apply computer skills to project management activities
Course Content Introduction: definition of project and project management. The difference between software projects and other types of projects. Management activities: planning, timing, scheduling, cost estimation, people management, risk management, monitoring and controlling, Configuration management, evaluation of projects, quality management. Exercising Microsoft Project Management Software
