Purpose and Content

The aim of the course It is aimed to provide students with the methods of solving structural engineering problems numerically, using a computer software; and to enable students who take this course to use the knowledge they have acquired in this course in their professional life as numerical analysis engineer in R&D or P&D departments of companies.
Course Content Creating solid models of various machine parts using an advanced package program, assigning materials to the part, fixing the part and loading pressure and force loads, creating a finite element mesh (mesh) to the part, making solutions and obtaining and displaying results such as stress and displacement. Conducting bending, buckling and vibration analysis of beams.
