Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To teach design of machine elements.
Course Content Shafts and axles. Springs. Couplings, clutches and brakes. Flat and V-shape belt-pulley systems, chain mechanisms. Gears and friction gear systems. Lubrication theory and journal bearings. Roller bearings.
