Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To gain the ability to obtain the model of mechanical systems, to introduce the necessary approaches for analysis and prevention of mechanical vibration problems.
Course Content Mechanical vibrations and basic concepts, Modeling of mechanical systems, Single degree of freedom systems, Two degree of freedom systems, Multiple degrees of freedom systems, Harmonic analysis, The characteristic value problem, Vibration control methods (Dynamic vibration absorbers), Vibration isolation, Vibration measurement and standards.
