The "Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare and Innovative Initiatives" seminar, organized by the Faculty of Medicine, Advanced Research Center, and Health Services Policy Application and Research Center at Istanbul Aydın University, was held with great interest on November 26, 2024. The guest speaker of the seminar, Mete GÖNÇ, Founder and CEO of Zack-AI, shared insights with the participants on the potential impact of artificial intelligence in healthcare and its future developments. He particularly emphasized the revolutionary potential of generative AI in drug discovery, personalized treatment, clinical trials, and patient diagnosis. He also highlighted how AI could provide significant benefits to healthcare professionals, such as enabling faster and more accurate decision-making and reducing their workload.

The seminar also addressed ethical and regulatory issues related to the use of AI in healthcare. GÖNÇ emphasized the importance of integrating these technologies with proper ethical and legal regulations. At the end of the seminar, strategies for successful AI integration were discussed, and it was highlighted that healthcare professionals need to be prepared to adapt to these new technologies. The event concluded with a plaque presentation by Prof. Dr. Ali SINAĞ, Vice Rector of IAU. Participants expressed their gratitude, noting that events like this are of great importance for the future of healthcare technologies.
