Electrical Program Mission:
To train qualified technical personnel needed by the industry, provide them with the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of electrical engineering, prepare students for professional life by improving their professional competencies, and cultivate individuals who are adaptable to constantly evolving technology, are innovative, adhere to ethical values, and possess a sense of social responsibility.
Electrical Program Vision:
To be a program that keeps up with constantly evolving technological changes in the electrical field, trains graduates equipped with up-to-date educational programs tailored to the needs of the sector, and is a leading and reference program at the national level. These graduates are the preferred choice in the industrial and service sectors.
Electrical Program Outcomes:
Graduates of the Electrical Program receive the title of "Technician."
They acquire knowledge and practical skills in electrical and electronic system maintenance and troubleshooting techniques. They learn the winding structure and design of electrical machines. They become familiar with modern control circuits and gain the ability to program and use programmable logic controllers. They gain the ability to solve control problems using electrical control circuit elements. They also gain knowledge and practical skills in electrical machines, their use and characteristics. They also read, draw, and implement electrical installation plans. They perform measurements of electrical and electronic circuits and components.
Graduates of the Electrical Program, as technical personnel with the title of Electrical Technician, can work in the installation of all types of electrical installations, the continuous operation of businesses, the control, maintenance, and repair of electrical devices and instruments, and the production, transmission, and distribution of energy.
Departments Accepted with the DGS Exam:
According to the ÖSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center) DGS Guide, graduates of the Electrical Program can transfer vertically to Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Energy Management, Aviation Electrical and Electronics, Control and Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Meteorological Engineering, Aircraft Electrical and Electronics, and Software Engineering.
