About Us

The Purchasing Directorate of Istanbul Aydin University is the administrative unit that plans and manages goods and services procurement processes to support the uninterrupted, effective, and sustainable execution of our university's academic and administrative activities.

Our Directorate operates within the framework of current legislation, procedures, and principles, primarily the Istanbul Aydin University Purchasing and Tender Regulation. In this context, it evaluates and concludes goods and services requests from all units of our university in line with the principles of transparency, competition, equality, efficiency, and the effective use of resources.

The Purchasing Directorate carries out all procurement activities in a coordinated manner, from needs analysis and supplier selection processes to contract and order transactions, and through to delivery and registration processes. It ensures that information and documents related to the transactions performed are recorded regularly, operates monitoring and control mechanisms, and submits the necessary reports to the relevant units.

In line with our university's quality policies and institutional goals, our Directorate has adopted the principle of producing fast, reliable, and sustainable purchasing solutions; increasing stakeholder satisfaction; and providing services with a continuous improvement approach.
